Of course, they can 3 over the radio, but they can learn better and more easily with 4 . Why? Because they can hear and watch at the same time. But they can't 5 anything over the radio.
Many students watch TV on Saturdays and Sundays. They are very busy with their lessons on 6 . But a few students watch TV every 7 . So they go to bed very late. So they can't have a good 8 . Bicycles(自行车) are very popular in China. In our country you can see bicycles almost everywhere. When you walk on the road, you will find a lot of people riding bicycles to school, shops and anywhere else. So, China is known as "the kingdom(王国) of bicycles". In China, many families usually have one or two bicycles surely.
Compared with cars, bicycles have many advantages(优点). First, they are much cheaper than cars. Most Chinese can't afford cars, but they can afford(买得起) bicycles. Second, bicycles are small enough to park anywhere, while cars need a larger piece of land to park. What's more, with lower speed, bicycles are safer(更安全) than cars.
However, bicycles also bring some problems(麻烦). Some riders don't obey the traffic rules and some riders don't think about others' safety. So they ride too fast. During rush hours, too many bicycles may cause traffic jams. We still have a long way to go to solve the problem.
American schools begin in September after a long summer holiday (暑假). There are 2 terms in a school year: the first term is from September to January, and the second term is from February to June. Most American children begin to go to school when they are 5 years old. Most children are 17 or 18 years old when they finish high school.
High school students take only 5 or 6 subjects each term. They usually go to the same classes every day, and they have homework for every class. After class, they do a lot of interesting things.
After high school, many students go to colleges. They usually have to pay a lot of money. So many college students work after class to get money for their studies.
