Nine years ago, I watched the movie Everest, I knew I had to start climbing. It's not the reaction (反应) most people have to that movie. Maybe I just needed more adventure in my life.
I grew up in Sweden. My father encouraged me to be outdoors all the time when I was a little boy, but I wasn't a serious adventurer. Six months after watching that movie, I climbed my mountain, Mount Whitney, in California—a high mountain in the US. In the summer of 2017, I decided to climb the highest peak in every European country.
Climbing mountains is an experience that is hard to put into words. You are in a beautiful environment, and when you reach the top, you feel incredible (不可思议的). It's true that many accidents might happen. But when I posted beautiful photos on Instagram. people gave me lots of likes and I felt proud. I eventually climbed 61 mountains in Europe by the end at 2019.
You have to work on your weak sides while climbing. I don't like not being in control, but you can't control anything on a mountain. Climbing makes me so much stronger, physically and mentally. It has made me a better person.
My goal now is always to have a mountain in my calendar. One day I will climb Qomolangma when I'm ready for it.

A smile is the best language. The truth of a smile is that it's like a seed that can grow in a garden called "life".
If there is one thing I have missed the most in the past 3 years, it is to see other people smile. When every face has a mask (口罩) on it, you might feel safer. But your mind might start to feel sick. Over these last months, I've learned to notice the "stars" in people's eyes that they still have when they smile from behind a mask. But it isn't quite the same.
Every smile is like a gift. As I grow up, my mom's smile always warms my heart. I am so happy that it appears on the faces of my children. My grandparents' smile always has a happy "Hello!" along with it. My dad hardly smiles to us, but I always loved seeing it.
Over the years, I have also learned a lot about smiles. I have read that "We don't smile because we are happy. We are happy because we smile." I also read that "I have never seen a smiling face that wasn't beautiful." And I know that both of these things were true. What I remember most, though, is something from my teacher. He said, "If nobody wants us to be happy, why does smiling feel so good?"
It doesn't matter if you are wearing a mask or not. It doesn't matter if your teeth are white or not. Show the world your smile. Smiles share our love. Smiles spread our joy. Smiles make the world's better place. One of the greatest, kindness and most loving things you can do is to give another person your smile.
Do you have problem controlling your emotions(情绪)? There are some tips for you to control yourself when you are angry.
Step 1: Don't hurt others. It is important to know what is acceptable and what is not for others. You should not hurt others, including hurting them with words.
Step 2: Take three deep breaths. You need to understand big feelings are very normal but your actions caused by these feelings will bring results. Taking a few deep breaths can give you time to relax yourself.
Step 3: Use your words to say your feelings and wishes. Saying what you wish for helps you angry or upset even having worked open a problem-solving(问题解决)conversation. Of course, your wish won't always be an acceptable result for all parties, but you can work out a more peaceful result together with whom you are angry.
Step 4: Ask for help to solve the problem. It is okay to ask for help when you don't feel that you can solve the problem alone. Asking your parents or teachers for advice may help you find better ways.
Step 5: Take the time you need to calm down. Sometimes you may still feel angry or upset even having worked through each of the above steps. Then, it is often better to walk away or to find another safe way to deal with those feelings. Several days later, you may not feel as strongly about whom you are angry.
