Dinosaurs lived on the earth 65,000,000 years ago! The first dinosaurs looked like big lizards（蜥蜴）. Many of them had short tails, big heads and walked on four legs. Most dinosaurs only ate plants. Some of these dinosaurs were very small, but some dinosaurs were bigger and heavier. Dinosaurs lived in warm forests. There were lots of plants and water. But about 60,000,000 years ago, some people said the weather on the earth suddenly got colder and drier（更干燥）. Many plants got fewer and fewer. There was no food for these big animals. Later there weren't any dinosaurs, either. Today, people sometimes find dinosaurs' teeth in rocks（岩石）or under the ground. We can learn about them in special science museums or on TV.
