If you are planning a trip, don't miss Hangzhou. The following information in the poster(海报)may help you.
One day, a hungry fox(狐狸) sees a chicken. He thinks, "Great! It must be my breakfast. "He comes up to the chicken and says, "Hello, Miss Chicken! As we all know, you are very good at singing. Can you teach me to sing a song?" The chicken is happy to hear that. She closes her eyes and begins to sing. The fox sees that and catches her in his mouth quickly. Then he takes the chicken away. The farmers on the farm see the fox. They shout, "Look! Look! The fox is taking the chicken away." Then they run after the fox. The chicken says to the fox,"Mr. Fox, can you hear that? The people say you are taking their chicken away. You'd tell them I am yours, not theirs." The fox thinks it's a great idea, so he opens his mouth and says," Miss Chicken is mine, not yours." Just then the chicken runs away from the fox and flies into the tree.
Lily is a student from Grade Five. She didn't know what a timeline was. So she asked her father for help. Her father said. "That is a list of important events(事件) in your life."
"Can you show me how to make a timeline, dad?"
"Sure! Let's take out a piece of paper, a pencil and a ruler."
Then Lily used the pencil and the ruler to draw a straight line. Then her father marked(标记)a small line across the longer line at the left end. Near the small line, he wrote "Lily is born."
"Why did you make that small line at the left end, Dad?" Lily asked.
"On a timeline, we order events from left to right. We place the first event on the left end and the last event on the right end."
Lily then wrote the month, day, and year of her birthday under the first line. Her dad drew another small line to the right of the first small line. He wrote, "Lily learns to walk" over that line. Then he marked another small line to the right of the second small line. Over this line he wrote "Lily starts school".
"Oh! I still remember how I learned to ride my bike. It was exciting!"
"Right! We should write that," her dad said.
"I want to draw a picture about it," Lily told her dad. She made a drawing of herself riding a bike and put it on the paper. Her dad put a photo of Lily's first day of school on the timeline, too.
In the end, they finished their work. Lily said, "That timeline is a picture of my life."
Do you hear a little noisy sound when you're trying to sleep at night? That's me, a mosquito. I am singing and flying around your bed. Oh, let me give you a "kiss"! Then you wake up and scratch(挠痒). Maybe you want to kill me. But I fly away fast. Maybe you can't go to sleep. The next morning you are late for school.
The type of blood (血型)
Mosquitoes like to bite(咬) people with type O blood most(最). Did you hear people say this before? But that's not true! In fact, I can't tell which blood type you have. Only doctors can do that well. So how do I pick whom to kiss?
Color
I also use my eyes to look for food. But I don't see very well. If you want to keep away from my kiss, do not wear colors such as black. red or dark blue. These colors help me to see you better.
Sweat(汗)
I find people by smelling(闻) their sweat. When you do sports and start sweating, I can smell your sweat from far away. So yummy! But if you take a shower to wash your body after exercising. It's very difficult for me to find you.
Heavy People
I can also smell the carbon dioxide(二氧化碳) you breathe out. If you are fat or heavy, you will make more carbon dioxide, and it is really easy for me to find you. So, larger and heavier people are more likely to(有可能) get my kiss.
