The school sports club tryouts (选拔赛) are today. The track team (田径队) wants 1 good runners this term. Harry 2 to be one of them. Its 5:00 a.m. Getting up so early to exercise is not 3 for Harry, but he keeps doing it.
At 10:00 a.m. the track team tryouts begin. At the 4 , Harry is doing his best to run when a runner next to him falls over (跌倒). Harry stops to 5 him, but unluckily, Harry comes in third place at last.
"Good boy, Harry! But I'm 6 to tell you that you can't join the track team this time," Mr. Green, a P.E. teacher, says.
Harry feels terrible knowing that 7 he doesn't want to give up (放弃).
"Well, it's time for the 8 team tryouts," Mr. Green says. "How about giving it a try?"
"Sounds good!" Harry says.
Then Harry 9 quickly and has fun playing with the ball. At last, Mr. Green says, "This is the team: Charlie, John, Tim, Harry ..."
Getting up for the early 10 pays off (得到回报). Harry is happy that he is on a team. Being a soccer player is also great for him!
