In A Life in the Trees, Rebecca goes 15000 km to Papua New Guinea. There, Rebecca meets the Kombai and writes about their lives in the jungle(丛林).
Rebecca lives with the Kombai people for three months. There is no school for children so their parents teach them how to cook, study and climb trees. The Kombai get up very early every morning. Kombai men hunt(捕猎) in the jungle. They can hunt for 12 hours. They also cut down trees.
The biggest thing of Kombai life is building their tree houses. All of them help to build tree houses. Each house is 20 m high. The stories in this book show the Kombai people's lives and how they build the houses in the trees.

Do you know about the job of police artists? Rosa Clemson is one of them. Witnesses(目击者) of a crime describe the criminal to her and she draws the picture.
How can Rosa do her job well? She thought her job was difficult but she had her tricks(诀窍). Rosa said first she always made friends with the witnesses. When people are relaxed, they can remember more. Next, she would think about her questions carefully, because she didn't want to influence(影响) the witnesses. Third, she had to watch the faces of them. "If they look left, they are remembering. If they look right, they are not sure."
Rosa said she would never forget her first job for the police. "A girl saw a criminal but it was difficult to remember because the criminal wore a mask(面罩). But she could see his eyes and nose. So, I helped her to describe. After 6 hours, I drew a picture of the man and it helped the police get the criminal."
"Now we have AI and it's getting better, so maybe robots(机器人) will take away my job one day," she said, "but they are not very good now."

Zhou Guanyu, 25, joined the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix 2024 in Shanghai. He is China's first F1 racer(赛车手). He is so happy because it was his first time to race at home. In the interview, Zhou Guanyu talked about what made him a great F1 racer.

A good racer must have a healthy body. Zhou does a lot of work on his neck. This is because the head become heavy when speeding up(加速) in the races. "You can see my neck getting thicker these years," said Zhou.

F1 drivers need to react quickly. They usually react in 100 milliseconds(毫秒). That is much faster than most people. "Racing with the world's top F1 drivers tests not only my driving skills(技巧) but also my mind and reaction speed," he said.
● Cars
Speed is so important for a great racer. Besides driving skills, fast speed comes from the car itself. Zhou had difficulty with his car at the Hungarian Grand Prix 2023. But he raced in April with a new car to show his skills.
Zhou Guanyu makes many people in China interested in sports, especially young people. "I am happy to see not just myself as a Chinese person here, I think a lot of young Chinese drivers can also succeed and be better!"
