Do teenagers in small villages do chores at home? How about the teenagers in big cities? To know the answers, we made a survey(调查)last month. We asked 4,000 teenagers in China. Half of them come from big cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The others are from small villages. We made a chart(图表)according to our survey. Let's have a look at it.
We can find out that teenagers in small villages do more chores than those in big cities. Maybe it is because they live a harder life. We will give our advice to parents in big cities. We think parents should give their children some chores to do because it's a good chance for teenagers to learn how to take care of themselves.
①The word "zhiyin", which means close friends, comes from the story of Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi in the Spring and Autumn Period(时期).
②Boya was good at playing guqin. One day, he was playing music on his way home on the boat. To Boya's surprise, Ziqi, who made a living by cutting wood, happened to pass by. He could understand what Boya wanted to show through his music. After a long talk, they became good friends. Since Boya had to return, they agreed to meet again in the next year.
③However, when getting back to visit Ziqi, Boya heard that his friend had died. Boya felt very sad. He took out his guqin and played again the music when they first met. After playing the music, he said, "My best friend is dead. No one understands my music now." Then he broke his guqin into pieces. From then on Boya never played again.
④People in the Song Dynasty(朝代)built the Guqin Tai in Hanyang(now Wuhan, Hubei)to remember the deep friendship between Boya and Ziqi. Itbecame an important part of the local(当地的)culture.
⑤Zhiyin culture has new development in the new period. The famous Chinese classical music piece Gaoshan Liushui was performed during the G20 Summit(峰会)in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The musical performance not only showed the beauty of traditional Chinese culture, but also showed China's wishes to develop its friendship with people from around the world.
On a sunny morning, a group of people got together in front of Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Burj Khalifa is the world's tallest tower. There, people were dressed in traditional Chinese martial arts(武术) clothes. With the sounds of peaceful music, they did some Tai Chi movements happily.
Tai Chi is a treasure of the Chinese nation. The earliest Tai Chi can date back to the mid— seventeenth centuries in Central China's Henan Province. It's not only widely practiced within our country but also popular abroad.
In recent years, weekly Tai Chi practice has become quite popular among local(当地的) people in Dubai. Liu Huajin is the organizer of the event. He said that they began offering online Tai Chi classes several years ago. A lot of local people learned Tai Chi from them. After they started to offer offline(线下的)classes, more and more local people began joining to learn Qigong, Tai Chi, Tai Chi Sword and Tai Chi Fan(太极剑和太极扇). Now, nearly 200 people from over 50 countries usually take part in these activities.
"Every weekend, we organize martial arts events in South Ridge Park. The park is in the city center in Dubai. There, we show the traditional beauty of Chinese martial arts and culture to people from all parts of the world," said Liu.
Robert is a Tai Chi lover from the United Kingdom and he plays Tai Chi whenever he is available. He said that practicing Tai Chi has greatly improved his health. "By learning Tai Chi, I have a deep understanding of traditional Chinese culture. It also gave me a new understanding of myself," he said.
We all know that there are some difficulties in life, which makes us feel sad and down. But at the same time, we also know that only when we keep positive(积极的)can we get out of the difficulties and welcome a better life. .
Do sports.
Exercise makes us feel very relaxed and happy. We will find that regular(定期的)exercise helps us develop a good habit of dealing with problems positively.
Read.
When we feel unhappy or bored, we can open a book and read some stories that we like. It will let our hearts become very calm(平静的). When we calm down, we can think about the problems that are key to success. More importantly, we will know more clearly what we want and what we don't like. .
.
When we feel down, we can communicate with some people around us. Of course, we must make sure that these people like us very much. We can sing with them, chat with them or share our difficulties with them. In short, if we are sure that they can listen to our inner world, we can share all our unhappiness with them. We will find that we are loved by the people around us, and they will help us in our lives.
A. At the same time, in the process of reading, we will become a better self. B. Stay with the people who love us. C. Here is some advice on how to stay positive. D. We can also tell them about our new plans. E. The more exercise we do, the better we will feel. |
A bird went to look for its happiness. It saw a little dying flower smiling happily. The bird asked the flower, "You're going to die. Why are you still so happy?"
"Because my dream will come true," said the flower.
"What's your dream?" asked the bird.
"To turn into delicious fruit."
Then the little bird saw it; happiness is hope in the heart.
The little bird kept flying. It flew and saw a lame(瘸的)duck singing a song. It asked the duck, "Life is unfair to you. Why are you still so happy?"
"Because I saw a little duck fall," said the duck.
"So are you happy because you saw it fall?" asked the bird.
"No, I'm happy because I helped it stand up again."
Then the little bird saw it: happiness is love in the heart.
The bird kept flying. It saw a spider(蜘蛛)climbing up a slippery(滑的)wall. The spider fell off the wall again and again. The little bird asked the spider, "You failed so much. Why are you still trying?"
"As long as I keep climbing, there is still hope. Because of this, I'm so happy," said the spider.
The little bird saw it: happiness is faith(信念)in the heart.
So the little bird saw the truth: happiness is not far away but in your own heart.
