Christmas Day is one of(important) festivals in western countries. People (celebration) it on the 25th of December. No one knows the real birthday of Jesus(耶稣). No date is given in the Bible(圣经), but people began to spend Christmas on December 25th in the (four) century. No matter how far a person is from his home, he will manage to go home to spend the festival with his family. Children love Christmas Santa Claus brings them a lot of gifts. Small children believe on Christmas Eve, if they do well the past year, Santa Claus(come) and bring them good luck. Santa Claus is a fat old man long white beard and in red clothes. Santa Claus(fly) through the sky with bags full nice gifts. When children go to bed at night, they put stockings at the end of their bed. They believe Santa Claus will fill the stockings with gifts and other good things they want. Actually, their parents put the gifts into the stockings. The true meaning of Christmas is (give) love and joy to people around us.
