    It was the day before Mother's Day this year. There was only me in the house and I was sitting in the chair thinking about my son Todd. I looked up and saw the little Mother's Day statue. Todd gave me that many years before. I put it on a shelf along with other memories（记忆）of passed days. It was hard to believe that Todd left me forever in a car accident in 2003.
    As I sat in my chair, lost in my memories, I thought, "It would sure be nice to get something again from Todd on Mother's Day, God."
