I have always wanted to write. From the day I first started reading I became 1. Harry Potter came out when I was a child. And I found one that I couldn't 2.
The problem is that I am not a very good 3. Everywhere I go I have my little black book. It has no marks on it and it looks very common. 4, my book is my little book of dreams. It started as somewhere to write down all of the 5 experience I have had before or when an idea came popped into my head in a dream. They would all get written into my little book.
Now I bring it everywhere with me. It is more 6 to me than my mobile phone or my wallet. It is full of crazy thoughts or what the world is like. The world, 7, is full of strange things and incredible (难以置信的) people. Every day has something special and unexpected just waiting to be 8 a little bit further down the road.
My book is amazing because it lets me catch all of those tiny things and catch them before they disappear. 9 it has the beginning of a fantasy novel (魔幻故事), the ending of a love play, and poetry I have written in different languages. I never thought I would ever write poems in French! It is crazy!
For me, this book is more than just a lot of 10 on paper. It is one million different possible stories, in thousands of different worlds and made up of a hundred different thoughts. It is indeed my special book.

In the middle of the first term of school, the entire eighth grade was tested for basic skills. Steve hurried through his tests, and continued to dream of other things. His heart was not in school, but in the woods.
One day, Miss White's impatient voice broke into his daydreams. "Steve! Pay attention!" Steve turned to look at her, fixing his eyes on Miss White, as she began to go over the test results for the eighth grade.
"You all did pretty well," she told the class, "except for one boy, and it breaks my heart to tell you this, but..." She hesitated, her eyes searching his face. "...The smartest boy in the eighth grade is failing my class!" She just stared at Steve. Steve dropped his eyes.

The following Monday he arrived at school on time, and he waited for Miss White to enter the classroom. She walked in, all smiles! God, she was beautiful!
Miss White, immediately, gave a quiz on the weekend homework. Steve hurried through the test and was the first to hand in his paper. With a look of surprise, Miss White took his paper. Obviously puzzled, she began to look it over. Miss White's face was in total shock! The smartest boy in the eighth grade had just passed his first test!
From that moment nothing was the same for Steve. Life at home remained the same, but life still changed. He discovered that not only could he learn, but he was good at it!
