Cao Wenxuan, Chinese children's fiction (小说) writer, w the Hans Christian Andersen Prize(安徒生奖)in April, 2016 , in Italy .
Cao Wenxuan was b in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province and he has t in Beijing University for over 30 years. He has w over 150 stories and novels. Some of them have been tinto English, F, Japanese and so on. I like reading the novel n “Grass House”. It is mup of nine parts which touched us deeply. The novel tells us how groups of children bravely f the difficulties and challenges of life. When the reporter I him, Cao Wenxuan said , “All of my stories are set in China, all of them are Chinese stories, but at the same time, they are the stories of the humankind(全人类).”
