The great baseball player sat down at John's bedside, and said, "Kid, I've brought you a new American League baseball. You've got to get well,8you won't be able to throw it."
For John this was the9of a new life. To his doctors' surprise, the boy walked out of the hospital on his own a few weeks later. He was able to live a normal life-all because of the10of Babe Ruth.
