I told my mother everything and we knew that we were in danger.

It was full of clothes and other things, but right at the b there were some papers and a bag of gold. My mother started c out the money the captain owed us.
I suddenly heard the tapping of the blind man's stick o. We heard him knocking on the door and t to open it, but thankfully it was locked. He walked off and some moments later, we heard a whistle blowing.

We quickly left the inn and went to hide near a bridge by the river. Behind us we heard footsteps running, and we saw a light moving in the darkness.
Seven or eight men, i the blind man, were at the inn. The blind man shouted orders as the others ran inside.
"Bill's dead." came a voice, "S has opened the chest."
"Is it there? Flint's papers, I mean." cried Pew, the blind man.
"No, there are no papers, "said another voice.
"The boy from the inn," shouted Pew. "The boy took the papers. Find him! Search the house!"
