How far would you go to make a good impression at a new job? A college student in Alabama walked 22 kilometers in the 1 to get to his new job.
Walter Carr's 2 broke down the night before starting a new job at Bellhops, a moving company. Although he tried several times, Carr 3 to find a ride. Knowing he could not afford to 4 the job, he decided to walk and 5 how long it would take to walk to the job in Pelham — 32 kilometers away. He left at midnight so that he could6it to the customer's house on time.
Carr had reportedly walked about 22 kilometers 7 the local police started to help the young man. After hearing his 8, they took him to breakfast. Then, they give him a 9 to the home of the customer Jenny Lamey, whom he was 10 to help move that morning, before the rest of the 11 arrived.
