I was cycling along a street on my way to the interview. yellow car passed me and suddenly turned right in front of me. I had to brake(刹车)hard and I hit another cyclist. We both fell, but luckily of us was hurt. The light turned red and the car stopped. I was angry that I went up to tell the car driver what a bad driver he was. I told him that he had nearly caused a bad accident and that he was a danger to other people on the road. I went on shouting at him when everyone was at him. His face red. Finally I said to him, "Don't be so stupid in future. Drive carefully so that everyone can enjoy a long life." Then I picked up my bicycle and left.
Luckily, I was on time for the interview. But to my , the person who interviewed me was the driver of the yellow car — was the manager of the company!
I decided to look on the whole matter as a great joke. I laughed and said, "Yes, we've already met, haven't we? I remember that the last time we met I did the most of the talking, so perhaps I should you do the talking this time."
But can you believe that the interview went very well? The "driver" was satisfied with my work experience and my answers to his questions. Clearly, he was not angry me.
Two days later, I received a letter offering me the job.
