On Saturday morning, every boy in town was happy, except Tom Sawyer. Tom's aunt said he had to paint the fence (围栏) because Tom had caused some trouble. Then he came up with an idea and picked up his brush to start the work,

A moment later, Ben Rogers came with an apple in his hand.
