Once there was a rich trader. He had a lovely son. But he worried about his son, because the boy grew up only with happiness." How will he know what to do if there's a problem?" the trader thought.
One day, the trader gave his son an old cart(手推车) and asked him to go into the forest to collect wood(收集木头).Before his son left, the trader said to him, "If the cart doesn't work, don't worry. Necessity(必然性)will teach you what to do."
The boy collected much wood and went home. But on the way home, the cart broke. Then he started shouting,"Mr. Necessity! Where are you?" But no one came. At last, he had to fix(修理)the cart himself.
When the boy arrived home, he said to his father, "You said 'Necessity' would teach me to fix the cart, but he didn't appear. So I had to fix it all by myself."
The trader said happily, "Necessity is really the best teacher."
