    Once the school year ends, families often begin the college search and selection. For many, it includes plans to visit college campuses(校园). The following advice will help you get the most out of your campus visits – wherever you go.

    Plan ahead.

    If possible, plan your list at least two weeks beforehand. This will be especially true over the summer and around holidays.

    If an interview is offered, take it! Take a tour. Visit a program area in which you have an interest. Ask thoughtful questions that show your interest.

    Arrive early.

    Avoid feeling rushed. . Find a coffee shop or someplace where you can comfortably take in campus life.

    Record your visit.

    Make notes as soon as you are able. . Take pictures. Buy postcards. In this way, you won't get confused(迷惑的) later.

    Build relationship.

    Your campus visit gives you a chance to develop relationships with people such as interviewers who might be decision-makers when your application is considered. Collect business cards. Be sure to stay in touch with them in right ways.

    Absorb(吸收) it.

    . Sleep on it. Think about what you have learned. Weigh your feelings against those you have of other schools. In the end, you need to remain as objective(客观的) as possible.
