Lena Pahlsson pulled out a handful of small carrots and was about to throw them away while looking after her garden in Mora, Sweden last (十月).But something made her look closer, and she found her long-lost welling ring on the top of one tiny carrot. It was one of (令人惊异的) moments she had experienced.
Pahlsson screamed so (大声地) that her daughter came running from the house. "She thought I had hurt (我自己)."said Pahlsson.
Sixteen years earlier, Pahlsson had removed the diamond ring (煮,烧) a meal. When she wanted to put the ring back on later, it was gone. She thought that one of her three daughters had picked it up, but the girls said they hadn't. Pahisson and her husband (搜寻) the kitchen checked every (角落), but turned up mothing. (终于), she gave up.
Pahlsson and her husband thought maybe the ring (扫) into kitchen rubbish and spread over the garden, where it remained (直到) the carrot's top accidentally grew through it. For Pahlsson, its return is magical.
