Mr. Brown had an umbrella shop in a small town. People (有时候)brought him broken umbrellas. He repaired some of them by himself and tookthe others to a big shop in London. They were usually repaired there in (十二)days.
One day Mr. Brown went to London by train. He (忘记)to takean umbrella
with him that day. Sitting in front of him was an old man with an umbrella standing (在...旁边)the seat. When the train (到达)in London, Mr. Brown picked up the umbrella as he often did during his (旅途)bytrain. Just as he was getting off, he was stopped by the old man. He said angrily,"That's (我的)!" Mr. Brown's face turned red. He gave it back to the old manat once.When Mr. Brown got to the bigshop, the shopkeeper had got his six umbrellas ready.After a good look at each of them, he was (满意的).
In the afternoon, with the repaired umbrellas, he got into the train again back to his town. (令人惊讶地), the same old manwas sittingnext to him. He looked at Mr. Brown and his six umbrellas,"You've had a (幸运的)day today, " he said.
