In China, people in different places live in different kinds of buildings. People in cities usually live in flats (公寓). Flats are usually in tall buildings. Some flats are big, and some are small. There are a few rooms in a flat. Many people live in houses. Most of the houses are not near the centre (中心)of cities. A house is a small building with a garden or a yard(院子). Some houses have one floor, and some have two or more. Some people live in yurts(蒙古包). These people travel with their cattle(牛)and sheep all the time. They can take the yurts with them easily.
