Once, long ago in old England, a magic bluebird was flying in the woods. She heard a noise and followed it .There, between the trees, was a large jug(壶). Outside the jug, there was a little old woman. She was walking around the jug.
When the old woman saw the bluebird, she began to complain.
"What a bad luck l have l it's ever so unfair. Why must l live in a jug? I could live in a sweet little house with windows and flowers by the door."
The kindhearted bluebird took pity on the little old woman.
"All right," said the bluebird. "Just clap your hands three times and see what happens." with that, the bluebird flew away. The old woman clapped her hands three times and then went to sleep. When she got up in the morning, she found herself in a beautiful bedroom. Outside, flowers came out by the door. She was very excited, but she thought no more of the little bluebird.
Time passed. The magic bluebird decided to see the little old woman. When the bluebird arrived, she was surprised to find the little old woman walking in front of the house. When the old woman saw the bluebird, she began to complain again.
"What a bad luck l have l it's ever so unfair. Why must l live in a simple house? I could live in a two-story house with fine furniture."
The bluebird was a little hurt that the old woman didn't even say thank you.
"All right," said the bluebird. "Just clap your hands three times and see what happens." And with that, the bluebird flew away.
When the old woman got up in the morning, she was back in her jug. And she never saw the magic bluebird again.
