Through continuous efforts of the Chinese government, Meng Wanzhou, the Chief Financial Officer of Huawei, arrived at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport on Saturday on a flight(organize) by the Chinese government.
According to a statement issued by one of the lawyers,represented Meng, she has not pleaded guilty and Meng will not(charge) further in the United States and the case in Canada will be stopped.
It marks the end of Meng's nearly three-year detention (拘押) in Canada. Meng was arrested by Canadian authorities the request of the US in December 2018. Meng and Huawei(repeat) denied the accusation. "My life has been turned upside down. It was a messy time for(I)", Meng said. "I will never forget all the good (wish) I received from people around the world", she(continue). On flight heading home, Meng expressed her thanks to the country. "Without a(power) nation, I would not be free as I am today," said Meng from the airplane, which was to land in China in a few hours.
