Once upon a time, there were lots of animals in the forest. One (晴朗的) afternoon, a young deer an old deer were (躺) under a tree. Suddenly, they heard some sounds of dogs' barking.
The old deer stood up quickly because he felt quite afraid and (紧张的). He said to the young deer, "Hurry up! It's time to find a safe place to hide in. The barking dogs are terrible and they will hurt us."
The young deer laughed and said, "Why should we hide from the dogs? We are (更大的) and stronger than them. We can throw them aside with our big antlers(鹿角). We should fight with them (勇敢地).
The old deer thought highly of the spirit of the young deer, but he did not believe the young. "We'd better run away now." said the old deer.
The young deer (拒绝) to run away. He decided to fight against the dogs. He was just standing there (与…同时) the dogs were running to him. Then he put down his antlers and wanted to throw them aside. But to his (惊讶), he didn't win the fight because there were too many dogs. The dogs killed him in the end.
We can learn a lesson from the story. (每个人) should know their own strength and weakness. When we are in danger, don't be (像) the silly young deer. The young deer died because he didn't know his strength and weakness.
