If you don't know where to go with your kids when you have time in the UK, I think I can give you some help.
The Natural History Museum Why to go: This is really the "grandfather" of all London museums. The beautiful building and the wonderful exhibitions(展览) make it one of the country's best places for kids. Try not to go on weekends. It is always crowded on weekends. Best for: Children aged three and over |
BeWILDerwood Why to go: There are no rides and no fast food shops in BeWILDerwood... just lots of outdoor fun. Designed(设计)by Tom Blofeld, an English children's writer, the park is famous for the amazing things from his books in the UK. There are many craft(手工的)activities for kids. Best for: Babies to early teens |
Eden Project Why to go: Do you want to experience the sights(风景), smells and sounds of a rainforest? Do you want to walk through rows of orange trees and lemon trees? You can do all of these without leaving the UK at Eden Project. Children here can learn about the relations between plants and people and learn about different climates(气候)and habitats(栖息地). Best for: Children of all ages |
