I'm glad to receive your letter and know your unforgettable (难忘的) experience. Now I'd like to share mine. Last Friday, I was cleaning my room and found an old photo in a drawer. While I was looking at it, the 1 memory of that day came back to me.
It was my mother's birthday eight years ago, and I decided to give her a 2 with a home-made birthday cake. I 3 early and quietly went to the kitchen. I had never 4 anything like this before, so I tried to copy 5 she did it. However, I failed.
The moment I was going to throw everything 6, my mother came in. I showed her the 7 and told her what happened. Surprisingly, she tasted it and said it wasn't 8! I guessed she didn't just want to discourage me. In fact, we ended up 9 and ate it up.
This week is her 10 birthday. I'll make a birthday cake for her again, and this time I will make it.
