One day, a hunter(猎人) went hunting with his dog. He saw a rabbit running in front of them and quickly started to shoo(射击). The rabbit was hurt but it ran away. The hunter waved to the dog to run after it. The rabbit ran so fast that it looked like it wasn't hurt at all. Surprisingly, the dog was left behind and had to return with nothing. The hunter was angry and shouted at the dog, "How useless! Unable to catch a rabbit! No dinner for you." Feeling sad, the dog said,"Though I didn't catch it, I did try hard." When the rabbit got home, all the other rabbits were surprised at its luck. They asked,"How could you run away when the dog almost caught you?" The rabbit answered, "The dog would only be blamed(责怪) for not catching me at most, so all it did was to try. But I would surely lose my life if l was caught. I had to go all out(竭尽全力)"
We can learn a lesson from the story. When facing difficulties. ask ourselves whether we go all out.
