Beethoven, who is regarded as one of the greatest musicians in the world, was born in 1770. Beethoven's father was a singer. Beethoven showed great talent in music at an early age. When the boy was only four, his father decided to make him a musician. So Beethoven had to play hour after hour on different musical instruments. He learned so fast that he could go around and give concerts when he was only 11. In 1787, Beethoven visited Vienna(维也纳) for the first time, the center of the musical world at that time, and lived there until his death. Beethoven never married. As a teacher, he was not patient, but he was hard-working. By 1801, he had become completely deaf. But he continued his creative work. His finest music was finished after he had lost the ability to enjoy it. Just as he once said that music was his whole world. And he tried to make his world, even a world without any sound, more and more perfect.
