After a long week, Sunday is the perfect day to sit down withfamilies, relax and enjoy a special dinner — Sunday roast (周日大餐). British people have eaten Sunday roastsfor centuries. In the past, people went to church on Sundays. After that,people would be hungry. What is this tasty dish? Every Sunday dinner has roast meat,usually chicken or beef, roast potatoes, vegetables, and Yorkshire pudding.
What if you don't have time to make the traditional dinner?Don't worry. In Britain, there are special restaurants, called carveries.
