I was acting the previous summer in an amateur theater group. I have always enjoyed acting and the theater, but I never thought I would have the opportunity to part of a real Broadway production. This became out a reality during my practice with The StarwayTheater Group. One evening just before our performance we were telling by the organizer of the theater group that an important Broadway director was from the audience. He was there to discover new talents for his show. We could hardly hold our exciting! Even though I had been performing in the small show all summer, I was quite nervous.

When I went on stage for my first scene, I felt as if I were about to make the fool of myself. I still don't understand that exactly happened, whether it was the effect of the bright lights on me or the idea that I was being watched by a great director, but whatever it was, I gave my good performance ever!

Before the show I was asked to meet with the director and he offered me a small part in his Broadway show. That autumn I went to New York and perform for one season on Broadway! It was an experience of a lifetime!
