Adam is a freshman at senior high school. (go) from junior high school to senior high school is really big challenge to him. So he felt a little (confuse) at first.
First, he had to choose the suitable courses. (lucky), his adviser helped him recommended that he should sign up for advanced literature.
He had to choose extra-curricular activities, too. To his (disappoint), when he tried to join the school football team, the coach refused him. However, he didn't lose hope. He'll find a way (improve) by himself so that he can join the team next year.
He knows he'll have to study (hard) as a senior high school student and get used to being responsible a lot. He'll be well prepared for university or whatever else (come) in the future.
