Samantha is feeling upset. She loses the key to her diary(日 记), She tries to find it in her bedroom, the living room, and the kitchen, but she can't find it.
Samantha tries to retrace(潮) her steps from the day before. She remembers going to the library and reading some storybooks. Then, she stops at the ice cream shop on the way home. So she goes back to the library and asks the librarian(图书管理员), 'Does anyone find a key?' But there is no luck. She then goes to the ice cream shop and asks the owner(店主), but he doesn't see it either.
Feeling unhappy, Samantha walks back home. On her way home, she sees some children in the park. They are playing on the swings. She watches them for a while(一会儿) and then joins in the fun.
After playing for a while, Samantha finds something shining in the sand under the swings. It is her key! She is so happy and she can finally open her diary again.
