A rich man and a poor tailor (裁缝) live in the same house. The rich man lives upstairs and the tailor lives downstairs. The tailor likes to sing when he makes clothes. He sings one song after another. But the rich man likes to sleep a lot, and the singing disturbs him. One day, the rich man says, "Tailor, I'll give you a bag full of money every day if you stop singing." "Fine," says the tailor. So the tailor stops singing and becomes richer and richer. But after some time he finds he is not happy because he wants very much to sing again. Then he gives all the money back to the rich man. "Here," he says, "Take your money back. I'm unhappy if I cannot sing." He puts the money on the table and goes away and sings. He sings and sings. And he is happier than before.
