In the US, Bike to School Day is a school festival. On that day, students need to ride to school. But if they have no bikes or live far from school, they can walk to school or take school buses.
It's a green way because it doesn't cause pollution (引起污染). It is also fun to ride bikes. Most importantly, biking is really good for their health. For today's students, it takes them much time to play phone games or watch TV shows at home.
Some students also ask their parents to go to work by bike on that day. After that, lots of parents get into a habit of riding. After buying an old bike for only fifty to one hundred dollars, they can ride it to work every day. And a new bike doesn't take too much money, either. It's great to have one.
