Gongming Yi is a great musician. He is good at playing the guqin. One day, he goes out for a walk and sees a cow eating grass. Gongming Yi feels happy, so he plays the guqin. The music is very 1 , but the cow doesn't show any interest. It is just eating grass.
"Why doesn't the cow listen to the music? Don't I play it 2 ?" Gongming Yi asks.
Then he plays new music for the cow. The music is 3 the sound of a young cow. This time, the cow 4 eating and listens to the music.
Gongming Yi says, "It isn't because I'm not good at playing the guqin. The cow doesn't know the music played by a 5 . It only knows its own (自己的) sound."
