Dear Dr. Know,
There are many rules at my home. When my mother says, "Don't be (noise)!" I have to stop (play) the game. Every time I want to eat ice-cream, my father will say no.
My parents are strict me. I know they make rules to help me. But my parents also have some bad (坏的) (habit). Can I make rules for them, too?
My first one is "Don't use phones too much!" My parents are always tired (疲倦的) after a day's practice — they are musicians in club. They need time (relax). They often play with their phones. But we need to talk about our life, study and work. It's very important to a family, isn't it?
My (two) rule is "Go outside on weekends." Today is Saturday. It's 10:00 in the morning. Now my mother is (shop) on the computer and my father is watching a soccer game. If (如果) we have this rule, we can go swimming, ride bikes just go for a walk. It helps us keep healthy and have fun.
But I don't know how to talk with my parents about it and I'm afraid (this) rules will not work in my family. Can you help me, Dr. Know?
Yours,
Frank
