Once upon a time, there was a wise man called Effendi. One day, he had joke with the Prime Minister(首相). He said the Minister would die the next day. The next day, the Minister fell from the horse and really died. The king knew it and got so angry he sent his men to bring Effendi to him.
The king shouted a loud voice."Effendi, since you knew when my Minister would die, you must know the date of your own death. Say it out, you'll die today."Effendi answered,"But how can I know? I'll die two days earlier than you."The king was afraid if he killed Effendi, he would die after that. He thought he must keepEffendi alive long as possible, so he let Effendi go. How clever Effendi was!
