Long long ago, there was a boy called Jack. He was never happy with anything, and he was always angry. One day, a cloud started dropping heavy black rain on him. That was the cloud's favorite trick (恶作剧) to play on little kids with bad temper.
Jack had a friend, a happy girl called Lucy. She was the only one who would like to hang around with Jack during all those black, rainy days. All the other children ran away, because they didn't want to be black.
One day, Lucy said to Jack, "Cheer up! What you should realize is that you're the only one of us who has his own cloud, and even better, its rain is black! Would you love to play fun games with a cloud like this?" Jack agreed because he didn't want her to leave as the others did.
Lucy took Jack to the swimming pool, and left him there until all the pool water was black. Then she went and got other kids. They came and played hide and seek (捉迷藏) in the pool. Jack had to say it was a lot of fun.
For the first time ever, Jack started to see the good side of things, even things which seemed so bad at first. The cloud thought that his work was over. But, before leaving, he gave Jack two days of colorful rain. With the rain, children invented the most fun games ever.
