Who should be the breadwinner (养家糊口的人) in a family? The father? The mother? Or both? It's not easy to answer the question because things have changed a lot.
In the past, men were usually the breadwinners. Women stayed at home and looked after the children. They also did housework such as making their bed and cooking meals.
Nowadays, things change so much. A man like this is called a stay-at-home dad. Being a stay-at-home mom or dad is her or his own choice, and it's not suitable for everybody.
