Little Women is a novel by an American writer, which came out in 1868 and 1869. The novel follows the lives of four sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, from their childhood to womanhood.
These four sisters live with their mother. Meg and Jo, the elder sisters, both work outside the home for money to support the family. Meg is the most beautiful sister. She teaches four children in a nearby family. Jo is the tomboy(假小子). Jo is easy to get angry. One of her challenges in growing up is to control her anger. She helps her grand aunt March, who is very rich. Beth is a musician. She helps with the housework. Amy studies at school. She is an pretty artist with blonde curly hair.
