A group of frogs(青蛙) were traveling through the woods. Suddenly, two of them fell into a hole. All of the other frogs wanted to save their friends, but the hole was too deep. Then they thought the two should prepare themselves for their fate (命运).
The two didn't want to accept this terrible fate, so they began to try their best to jump. The other frogs shouted that they should save their energy (力量) . But the two frogs didn't listen and kept jumping. Several hours later, they were quite tired. Finally, one of the frogs decided to give up. The other frog continued to jump, though he was tired.
The others kept shouting that the effort(努力) wasn't useful. However, the frog jumped hard er and harder and finally, he jumped so high that he got out of the hole. The other frogs cheered him and then asked how he made it.
The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He considered the other frogs' shouting as encouragement. It encouraged him to succeed. As we can see, encouraging words can help people get over the difficulties.
