Zhang Qiang is a (有残疾的)student. There is something. (有毛病) with his left leg. But he never gives up. He often does (志愿者)work on weekends. For example, he tells stories to those lonely old people in the old people's home. Although it's difficult for him to walk to school, he keeps on doing so. At school, he gets on well with his classmates and teachers. He always gets good grades. He says, " I should (依靠)on myself and try my best to help others.
I am Xu Liuyang, a middle school student from Jiangsu Province. I am good at solving all kinds of strange math problems. I am a (成员) of our school math team, I usually train a lot every day. Besides math, I have many other (爱好) as well, such as bike riding, (航海) and travelling, but math is still my favourite. Last year, I (参加) Super Brain 3. I worked hard to prepare for it. In fact, my coach and I were (紧张的) and we thought it's (不可能) for us to win, because all the other players were the best ones. What's more, I was the youngest player, just a 12-year-old boy. But over and over again, I told myself to be brave. Luckily, I beat the others one by one, and got the first (奖项) finally. My coach and my parents were (骄傲) of me. Cars can be great because they're faster. But at the same time it can be dangerous to people. In China, there are more than 20,000 students who become (残疾的) or die in car accidents every year. So we should learn how to be (乘客) who are safe. Now we (提供) some simple rules for you. Following these rules (意味着) you'll be more protected during a car travel.
First, remember to wear your seat belts no (事情) when you are in car. Don't take (风险)to be in cars without wearing the seat belts.
Second, doctors tell people not to sit or (躺) down to sleep in your neck easily there. To sleep in cars is really a bad habit.
Third, children of 12 years old and younger need to sit in the back seats. Remember that there's no jumping, running around, or (扔) things while you are in the car. If you act like that in a car, you will easily get (伤害).
Finally, after you get out of the car, never walk behind it. That's the (容易的) way to protect yourself.
It's important for us to show our feelings with someone else. It's wrong not to talk to anyone when you're feeling sad, worried or (孤独的). If you keep your feelings inside, it can make you feel (生病的).
But if you talk with someone, like your mom or dad, you will begin to feel better (比) before. Now you are not all alone with your trouble (不再). It doesn't mean it will disappear magically, but at least, someone else (理解) what's the matter with you and can help you find (几个) different ways to solve your problems.
Although your parents really expect you to (发展) your independence in your growing up, they still hope you can (打开) your heart to them in (为了) to help you make a better (决定) and have a better future. And we will surely feel better if we share our feelings with someone else.
