The air all round us is so dirty. And we breathe dirty air every day. A lot of this air comes from cars. When we a bus or take a walk, we take in the harmful gases that comes out of the cars. If we do sports , we take in even more. These harmful gases do harm to people's health and make people . It can cause people to have a cough or allergies.
It can also make people not live as long. So we must do something. For example, instead of using a car or bus for transportation, we can walk or ride a bicycle because walking and riding a bicycle don't cause much . Also, trees can take harmful gasses from the air and give us more oxygen. So we should plant more trees. If we all do our part, we'll make the air much !

I have a friend. She doesn't walk, talk orlaugh, but she is very kind and friendly to me.
When I feel tired, she can help me1. She makes me happy almost every day.You can't touch or see her, but she's2.Do you know who sheis? She is my best friend—music.
Music is my favorite type of art. When Iwas four years old, I began to listen to different kinds of music. The firsttime I saw a piano, a black-and-white musical instrument, I was attracted byit. At first, I was3 playing the piano. But as a four-year-oldgirl, classical(古典的) music is not very interesting to me. So I became impatientand didn't want to play the piano anymore.4, two months later, I changed my mind.
One day, I was listening to The NinthSymphony (《第九交响曲》)at home. The symphony sounded very beautiful. My mother told me that Beethovenwrote it after he was deaf. Beethoven was deaf, but he didn't give up thepiano. So I should5him. From then on, I began learning toplay the piano again and tried very hard to practice. I love playing the piano. When I feel happy, I will play a happy song to share6 with my parents; when I feel sad, I willchoose a sorrowful song to pour out my sadness. I will always remember my bestfriend, music.

The Food
In China, I'll eat almost a. But I remember the first food I tasted at school in England. We had a soup and it was tasteless. In China, our food is quite salty, but we like it b the salt makes it taste nice. A friend advised me to try some cheese and biscuits. I thought biscuits were the same as 'cookies' in America but I was wrong. Again, I felt d.
Introductions
In China when you m someone for the first time, you sometimes shake hands. But my friend's mother gave me a kiss when I left his house. I felt so surprised and my face went very red at that time.
Socialising (社交)
I remember when I went around to a friend's house and I wanted to say 'thank you' to his mother. So I took a cake as a p. But from her face, I knew that I had taken something wrong. In England, we o give cakes on someone's birthday.

His college friends were looking for their first jobs, but he didn'thave to. Tom decided to keep living a simple life like everyone else. He didn'ttell any of his friends and gave $100, 000 of his money to a charity (慈善团体) to help poor children to live betterlives. Today he is 36, he still wears cheap shoes and clothes and owns a smallcar only, but he is much happier.
Until now Tom has helped 15 children frompoor countries all over the world, $200 a month for each. The child does notreceive the money in cash (现金) . The money pays for the child'sschool expenses, food, medical care and clothing. Tom receives a report on thechildren's progress each year. They can write to each other, but usually thechildren do not speak English.
Once Tom went to visit a little girl inAfrica. "When I saw her, I felt very happy," he said, "I sawthat the money was used for a very good plan. It brought me closer to the childin a way that giving money alone cannot." "I want to do everything Ican. I will go on helping those children in need," he added.
