88-year-old Gao Siji lives in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. She often goes to seafood stores to1fish bones. In her eyes, they are not2, but great things for making works of art. And she is3 for her fish-bone pictures. Lots of people love them.
You may wonder4Gao started making pictures with fish bones. It was about 30 years ago. "As soon as I left my job because of age, I went to study5. When I ate fish one day, I got interested in the 6of the fish bones and had a(n)7 to make works of art with them," she said. "Then I cleaned the fish bones, colored them and glued them together to finish my first fish- bone picture. " The picture was wonderful and Gao fell in love with this kind of art. Soon she started using other seafood waste to make pictures. Over the past thirty years, Gao has made more than one hundred works of art. How8she is!

Barbara was driving her six-year-old son, Ben, to his piano lesson. They were late, and Barbara was beginning to think she should have called it off. Barbara, a nurse at the local hospital, was very tired at that moment. The coldest season and the terrible weather just brought them more difficulties.
"Mum!" Ben cried suddenly. "Look!" Just ahead,a car had lost control on the icy road and crashed (猛撞)into a telephone pole. Barbara stopped her car quickly and opened the door. She said to Ben, "Dear, promise me you'll stay in the car!" "I will, Mum," Ben said as his mum ran. She was a nurse-she might be able to help the unlucky people
It was terrible. Two girls aged about 18 were in the car. One was dead and the other was still breathing. Barbara quickly cleaned the wounds in the driver's head. Ben called for help on his mum's phone. Soon an ambulance came." Good job, Barbara! You've saved her life," one doctor said as he examined the driver's wounds. Barbara walked back to her car with a feeling of sadness, especially for the family of the girl who had died. Later, Barbara was able to meet the family of the driver. They expressed their thanks to Barbara for the help she had provided.
A few years ago, my teacher asked me to join a program with three of my classmates. Each week we spent an hour in the classroom helping special needs children with their schoolwork, art projects(项目)and everyday activities. Soon, I found that working with special needs children had changed my life a lot. At first I thought it would be scary to be around those different children, yet there was something really special about them.
One of my favorite memories(回忆) is reading a story about how it is great to be different. After the story, I helped the children make clay(黏土) characters. They worked with ease and confidence(轻松且自信). When I saw the smiles on their faces, I felt really happy.
Today, as a working woman, I still work with special needs children. Not long ago, I started " the Castle(城堡) for Kids" project. I thought it would be fun for those children to change their classroom into a castle. They were builders of a castle. They also built a lifelong memory for themselves and me.
Working with special needs children has improved my understanding of life. My teacher believes we should be a part of something bigger than ourselves. I never understood how true this was until I worked with those children.
One Friday morning when Mr Turvey couldn't find one of his shoes. And Mrs. Turvey couldn't see her face in the mirror, they decided it was time to get their house cleaned. So that afternoon Mrs. Turvey called Marie, a foreign student who provided the house clean-up service on weekends. She did a very good job and most families in Mrs. Turvey's neighborhood were satisfied with her.
Marie came to the house the next morning and worked all day long. She first put all the dirty clothes into the washing machine. After sweeping the floor in the living room, she took a wet cloth to wipe the furniture(擦拭家具) until it was shining. In the kitchen, the floor was much dirtier. Marie got down on her hands and knees to clean it with a brush. Then she did the dishes and put them away.
After the clothes were dried, she ironed (熨) them and put them away. Finally, she made the bed. When she finished, the house looked very clean and tidy. Then she left the house.
Mr. and Mrs. Turvey came home from a trip that evening. The floor and the furniture were clean. In their bedroom, all their clothes were tidy.
"So what do you think?"Mrs Turvey asked.
"It looks nice," Mr. Turvey said," but how are we ever going to find anything?"

People often ask and are asked what is the most important thing in life. Some people answer that family is the most important and others say love, work or money. In my opinion, health is the most important in life. However, how to keep healthy?
Firstly, ① A positive attitude towards life must be good to health. It also brings new power to overcome disease.
Secondly, ② Taking exercise regularly or even every day helps you build a strong body, which is the base of health. Exercise can improve the ability of the body to fight disease.
Thirdly, ③ . Because friendship is an important part. To influence your health. Many studies show that people with a wide range of social contacts get sick less than those who don't. I always feel better when I am with friends than I am alone.
Finally, ④ . Having a good rest and building normal daily routine are also important to health.
