We're often taught to believe what's inside a person is more important than what's on the outside.
But whether we1it or not, most of us hate at least one thing about our body. From the 2 of our nose to our height, there's always something everyone 3For some people, the way they look can even change their whole 4.
"Every time l look in the mirror, I 5 have a battle(斗争) with myself, Lily told us.
6, Lily isn't alone. According to a recent survey, 89 percent of US women are dissatisfied 7their physical appearance(外貌). The survey found that most of women thought they 8too much. And 15 percent of them said they would 9 five years of their life if they could be thinner.
So, if you're one of them, what can you do?10 the time you spend on social media could be a good start. In addition, thinking about the things we like about our body could help us feel 11. You have a choice: feel bad about your body or love and accept12.
In fact, learning to accept who we are is the best way to solve the problem. As we grow older, we 13 begin to care less about our appearance and more about bigger problems.
"14the time you hit your 20s, you should realize that there are more important things in life than looks, ""reporter Mike said, "No matter15 beautiful or ugly you think you are, your life has value." So, remember to accept who you are.

Dear Sam,
I believe that all children can help save the planet by recycling plastic bottles. We use lots and lots of plastic bottles every day. At our school, we use plastic bottles for all sorts of things — water, fruit juice, milk drinks and even medicine. They are a lot of bottles.
We have seen that people don't bother to put their empty bottles in the bin. They throw them out of car windows or just drop them as they walk These end up in our oceans, rivers and lakes, harming many water animals. They also make the waterways look terrible.
Even if they are put in the bin, plastic bottles are a problem. Because we use so many plastic bottles and they can take hundreds of years to break down, they clog (阻塞) up the space at the dump. Other things like paper and vegetables break down quickly and become part of the soil but not plastic.
If we all choose to recycle plastic bottles, they can be reused to make other things like toys, tools and even some clothes. This will mean less plastic in dumps and waterways.
Recycling is something kids can do to help the environment. So we should start now!
Thank you.
Jessica
ldioms (习语) can be a problem for language learners. For example, imagine your English friend Sam tells you his math exam was "a piece of cake. "Do you imagine him at school, sitting in front of a sweet dessert with nothing but a pen to eat it with? In fact, he is saying that the exam was really easy. Here are stories of three English idioms.
If you ask a friend to hang out, you might hear, "Sorry, I can't tonight. I am feeling a little under the weather. "It may sound like rain is coming, but really, it means that your friend feels sick. This expression came from sailors, who often got seasick when bad weather tossed the ship from side to side.
lf you have a difficult roommate, you might say, " My roommate has loud parties every night, but last night was the last straw. They played music till 5AM! I am moving out. "A "last straw"' is a final problem that makes someone take action. This expression is a short form of the phrase "the straw that broke the camel's back. "The idea is that even though a single piece of straw is very light, many pieces added together will be too heavy for the camel to carry.
Have you ever asked someone if they know something, and they reply, "That rings a bell? They are not hearing music! They mean that what you are saying sounds familiar, and they think they've heard it before. This idiom comes from the fact that the bells are used to remind people of many things. Traditionally, bells would tell for an important event, like a wedding. School bells tell you that class is starting.
Many people dream of traveling into outer space. However, spending too much time in space may cause health problems, according to NASA. That's why astronauts shouldn't spend more than six months on the International Space Station (ISS) at a time.
Muscle (肌肉) and bone loss
In a weightless environment, astronauts don't need to use their muscles to support themselves. Therefore, their muscles start shrinking (萎缩). To keep their muscles strong, astronauts need to exercise about 2 hours each day on the ISS.
The weightless environment also causes astronauts' bones to lose minerals, with density(密度) dropping at over 1 percent per month. The rate of bone loss for elderly people on Ear this 1 to 1.5 percent per year.
Sleep disorder(混乱)
ln space, the sun rises every 90 minutes. It is hard for astronauts to get used to this light-dark cycle when they sleep. Also, they need to sleep in a sleeping bag that is fixed to a wall, which is uncomfortable.
Astronauts now have individual sleeping pods (分离仓) that help shut out some of the light. Still, studies have found that most astronauts only sleep about six hours each night, even though they should have eight and a half hours.
Brain changes
Scientists have found that the position of the brain changes during spaceflight. It shifts upward within the skull (头骨). This can affect how the brain deals with how we see, stay balanced and move around. That's why some astronauts can't control their movement and balance after returning to Earth. Scientists have also found that astronauts may get used to this change after going on more spaceflights. But they still need to do more research.
a. bone loss
b. high blood pressure
c. sleep disorder
d. mental disease
e. muscle shrinking

The man (attract) by what he had seen and he was a bit worried about the child, so he pulled over and went overthe boy.
