Buy Nothing Day first started in Canada. Now people in Canada, America, Japan and England celebrate it. People there buy nothing on that day. Parents stay at home with their children. They often read stories, sing songs and draw pictures. Sometimes they have a family party at home.

Hi, my name is Alex. This is my class schedule. I have to get up at about 6:30 every day. First, I have breakfast. Then, I ride my bike to school.

I have four classes in the morning. History is very interesting. Mr. Rudolph is really cool. He knows everything about history. I also like learning math. We get a 15-minute break in the morning. I usually talk to Franklin at that time. We also have lunch together, near the playground. Then we have English. We like the English teacher very much.P.E.is the last in the morning.

I love books and my schoolbag keeps them with me. I don't mean (意指) only schoolbags. I mean my reading books, too. Now I am reading Peter Rabbit. After that, I will read Harry Potter.

My schoolbag also holds my lunch box. Dad always puts a good lunch in my schoolbag. Sometimes he puts a note in it. That way, I feel happy all the afternoon.

Sometimes my schoolbag is very heavy, but I don't mind (介意). It has everything I need. It's like a home on my back.

Today is Lan's first day to a new school. He is not happy that morning 1he doesn't know anyone at his new school.

A man is going to the house of his good friend Danny. After a short time, he sees two (box) of good apples by the road. Then he takes the apples and throws (扔) them into the dustbin.(垃圾箱).

He comes to a river (河).There is a lot of water in river and he can't get over it. He waits for some time, then he thinks, "I can't go to my  (friend) house today, because I can't get over the river."

the evening, he begins to go home. He has no food to eat that day. He comes back to the apples he is very hungry (饿). He is happy to take the apples out of the dustbin and eat  (they).
