I am a dog lover. I think dogs are our friends and I1anything about dogs. I had high hopes for the TV show Dog Academy. It is 2a group of dogs that go to a training school. Unluckily, it is not as good as I 3.
The best part of Dog Academy is a man named Jim and 4dog, Cici. Jim is fat and tall. He speaks so5that everyone in the show can hear him. However, when he is with Cici, he talks like a baby. It is really funny to watch them play together, and they are the only part I 'want to watch in the show.

With the winter vacation coming, l want to find a part-time job, because I don't want to ask my parents for money. I want to have a job at a winter camp. I can play games with children there. In fact. I can find a job. It was cleaning up tables-at a store.
At first, I wanted to give up the job, because I got up too early in the morning. It made me unhappy. I never forgot how tired I felt on my first day, but I never forgot sit-ting together and talking about our days with my workmates(同事). Suddenly, I felt good to be a member of them.
After working at the store for one year, I was used to getting up so early, because l knew there would be a few good times every day there. Working at the store, I learned to grow into(长成) a boy. I can depend on myself and get along well with others. And I'm not the shy person that I used to be. Meeting an impolite customer(顾客) might make me feel bad, but very soon I could deal with(处理)it without difficulty. The job gave me so much, and I can't, wait to go back to the store and continue to grow from my experience.
One day we invited(邀请)some friends to dinner. When it was about half past five in the evening, my wife(妻子)found that we had little bread. So she asked our five-year-old daughter, Kathy, to buy some. "Here is two dollars, "my wife said, "You get two pieces of bread if they have it. If they don't have it, get anything. But be quick!"
Kathy ran off, and we waited and waited. By a quarter past six, all the friends arrived here. But Kathy didn't return. Finally we saw her dancing around the corner(拐角)with a new fan(扇子).
"Kathy!" her mother cried," Where did you get the fan? Where's the bread?" "Well, when I got to the store, they sold out all the bread, "Kathy answered, "and you said "If they don't have it, you get anything." so I bought the fan."
A kindly old fisherman(渔夫) lived with his wife in an old little house by the sea. One day the fisherman caught a most beautiful fish. the fish spoke to him." Please let me go." it said, " can give you anything that you ask for."
So the fisherman said to him, ""And he put the fish back into the water." Go home then." said the fish." She is in the house. "
he saw his wife standing outside a beautiful little house with a gar-den. For several weeks the couple was very happy. Then, one day when the wife woke up, she said to her husband(丈夫), " This house isn't big enough for us now. Go back to the fish and ask him for a building." "I can't do that," said the fisherman. " I can't ask for more."
A. When the fisherman got home,
B. If you let me go,
C. He has already given us this house.
D. He wanted to put it into his basket,
E. I want to have a nice little house for my wife and me to live in.
F. Thanks for your help.
At the age of 60, my dad was ill(生病的). After sleeping for two months in hospital, he finally woke up. His waking up made all our family happy. But then we knew he didn't' know any of us! Doctors said they didn't know how long it would last. My heart went down when I heard the terrible news.
I was his only child, so it was my duty to look after him. He forgot almost everything, but he did remember he liked sweets. I would give him one sweet if he didn't sit on the ground, a second for stopping painting on the wall, and another for not trying to put clothes on the dog.
Dad became the oldest child in town. He climbed up the tree to catch a bird and couldn't get down after it flew away. He broke my window with a ball and cleaned our telephone in water like washing clothes, when I told him he was doing wrong things, he would answer smilingly, "I like that !"
My son then aged five, and two eight-year-old daughters, welcomed their big playmate. He would happily share his sweets with them, and carry them high in the apple tree to pick apples.
It's eight years since the accident, Dad 'has accepted (接受)the fact that he is the grandpa of his three playmates but not a brother. He has also accepted that they grow taller but his height always stays the same. Though it is still tiring to take care of him, he really brings us a lot of fun. In some way, I think it is a happy thing to look after Dad like looking after a child. How many people can have the chance to care for a childlike parent?

There was a poor woman. Her husband was dead, and she lived with her two daughters in a small house a long way from the nearest town. There were two rose(玫瑰)trees in her garden. One rose tree had white flowers. One of her daughters was as beautiful as a white rose. Her name was Snow-white. The other rose tree had red flowers. The other daughter had dark hair and was as beautiful as a red rose. Her name was Rose-red.
The two girls were very good. Snow-white was quieter than Rose-red. Rose-red liked running about in the fields(田地)and looking for flowers and birds. Snow-white liked staying at home and working in the house with her mother. The girls were good friends, and they were always together. Snow-white said, "We're always going to stay together." And Rose-red said, "We're never going to go away from each other."
In summer Rose-red put flowers at the side of her mother's bed very early in the morning. She always took a rose from each rose tree and put them together. In winter Snow-white made the fire each morning. At night Mother often read some storybooks and the children listened to her.
