Angela is a Chinese girl. She came to Australia one year ago. And now she has many friends at school. Some of them are also from China. They usually speak Chinese, but they always speak English when they talk with their teachers and other classmates. At the weekend, her mum and dad usually go shopping in the morning and have a picnic in the park in the afternoon with her. Angela sometimes asks her cousin Betty to join them. In the evening, they sometimes go to a Chinese restaurant with her cousin's family. They never go to the cinema in Australia. Because the tickets are too expensive. But they like to go to the library and museum. Angela likes Australia. The people there are very friendly. But sometimes Angela misses her friends and food in China. They will go back to Beijing for the Spring Festival.

At the top is fatty food, such as oil, sweets and junk food(垃圾食品). They are tasty but unhealthy. We should only eat a little fatty food. Fatty food is not good for our bodies. |
Meat and dairy products(乳制品) make us strong. But too much of them makes us fat and unhealthy.
Just above grains are fruit and vegetables. Fruit and vegetables keep us from getting ill. | At the bottom(底部) are grains(谷物). We should eat more grains than anything else. With every meal, we should have some bread, rice or some other kinds of grain.
●Drink 8 glasses of water every day. ●Do exercise for at least 1 hour every day. |
What is Hainan famous for? Blue seas, golden and white beaches and green coconut trees…and more! There is a mysterious(神秘的) and amazing place here - the National Park of Hainan Tropical Rainforest(热带雨林).
The park has the largest and best-kept tropical rainforest in China. The forest covers about 96 percent of the park. People also call it "the museum of tropical rainforests".
There are many rare animals and plants in the park. It is the only home to Hainan gibbons(海南长臂猿). Over 40 years ago, as the rainforest shrank, there were less than 10 of them. Today, there are 36 of them. They are picky (挑剔的) about their homes. They only live in a healthy forest.
The park is also the world's biggest "drugstore(药房)". About 80 percent of the plants here can be used as drugs.
