Thanksgiving Day is coming. Ms. Lee gives her students a piece of special homework. She asks them to draw a picture of something they're thankful for.

In Spain (西班牙), people eat twelve grapes at midnight on New Year's Eve—One grape for good luck in each month of the new year. Japanese (日本人) eat noodles on New Year's Eve and on birthdays. They think noodles may bring them good luck and long life(寿命).
The food may be different in each country, but the meaning is the same. People hope the food will, bring them good luck and fun in the new year.
