Although most people today think of these stories as fairy tales for children, the brothers first wrote them primarily for adults. Many of their early tales were dark and a little scary. 

Later, the brothers changed some of the original stories. This made them more appropriate (恰当的) for children. Like the early tales, though, each story still has a moral (寓意). 

  One summer, Cao Cao was leading his soldiers(士兵) to fight with Zhang Xiu. The weather pretty hot. The soldiers were walking in the mountain. The soldiers were tired by noon,  the horses also slowed down. 

 Seeing that the speed was slower and slower, Cao Cao was  worried that he would miss the chance of winning. But  could they walk faster? Cao Cao called the guide and asked him if there was some water nearby. The guide shook  head, and said that the spring water was on  other side of the mountain, which was very far to reach. After thinking for a moment, he had  good idea quickly. Pointing at the front, Cao Cao said loudly,  "Soldiers, I know there is a big forest with plums(梅子) ahead. The plums there are both big and delicious. Let's hurry , and we will reach the forest of plums  passing this hill.  " Imagining the sweet and sour taste of the plums in their minds, the soldiers felt like they were eating the plums. Then they quickened(加快) their steps. 

We can learn  this story that if we can't see hope and have no goal, we will lose confidence. 

Julio Iglesias comes from Spain and he is a well-known  and songwriter(作曲家). 

He has sold more than 350  records across the world and has given lots of concerts. Most people think he is very lucky. But when he was young, he was not so lucky. Iglesias was a football player and had a great job in Real Madrid football club in Spain when he studied in a university. , he met with a car accident and could never play football again. 

After the accident, it took  a year in the hospital and had to stop his studies. While he was in hospital, a nurse gave him a guitar so that he could improve the movements(运动) of his . He started  to play the guitar. He learned how to play the guitar by listening to the radio. At that time, he found that he  singing. 

 Iglesias left hospital, he finished his law studies because he wanted to be a lawyer(律师). However, he became more  in singing and practiced it every day. In the end, he decided to work as a musician. 

Iglesias doesn't become a lawyer but he does very well as a singer and songwriter. As the  goes: When God closes a door, somewhere he opens a window.
